COMMENTARY

Art and Race Matters: The Career of Robert Colescott

My video commentary on taboo whisperer, artist Robert Colescott, was part of the online exhibition, Art and Race Matters: The Career of Robert Colescott, at the Portland Art Museum. I also facilitated a virtual group dialogue on race, gender, and identity in Colescott’s work.

In Dialogue is an occasional series of interdisciplinary, discussion-based sessions featuring a range of artists, thinkers, and scholars who share their own perspectives on art in the context of today.
