HUMANITY FIRST
FOR LEADERS AND DECISION MAKERS
Smart leaders don’t
fail from lack of intelligence
They fail from narrow perspectives.
I design a one-on-one immersion that refines how senior leaders decide. This immersion restores nuance where conventional thinking fails.
What I do
As a cultural strategist, I use art, media, dialogue and interactive experiences that challenge belief systems, explore contradictions, and put people back at the center of decision-making.
The most consequential forces shaping leadership are often the ones leaders don't see. The culture around us dictates what we notice, what we value, and what we believe is possible. Yet few people question the assumptions that define how they see themselves and others.
I help leaders identify the cultural forces, incentives, and status dynamics influencing their judgment, facilitating more nuanced thinking and a greater ability to navigate complexity beyond surface-level narratives.
There is a deeper understanding of how each decision influences the well-being and interconnected relationships of staff, clients, families, communities, and society at large.
The problems
I address
Most leaders are rewarded for conviction, not perspective. Over time, consensus replaces critical thinking. The result: intelligent people making incomplete decision
The outcome
Leaders I work with broaden their perspectives, sharpen judgment, and strengthen their ability to make decisions that hold up in the real world.
Who this is for
Leaders in corporations, cultural and arts institutions, and philanthropic organizations, as well as those who support leadership development such as coaches and consultants.
Humanity First
Humanity First improves how leaders see, comprehend, decide, and execute. They are better equipped to prioritize people over metrics alone, recognizing that sustainable success is built on human relationships, trust, and well-being.
Collaboration Details
This virtual, one-on-one leadership immersion is thoughtfully designed as a highly personalized and engaging experience, requiring an eight-week commitment.
Prior to enrollment, we will schedule a brief virtual conversation to explore whether the immersion is a strong mutual fit. The program consists of weekly one-hour sessions conducted via Zoom over the course of eight weeks.
As part of the experience, we may engage with provocative works of art as a means to reassess leadership, perspectives, and personal insights. For individuals who are open to this type of reflection and able to dedicate the necessary time and attention, the immersion can be both deeply meaningful and impactful.
